Cubs 2009 June Amateur Draft
The 2009 draft was a three day event starting on June 9th, 2009. The first day was rounds 1-3, the second day was Rounds 4-30, and the final day was rounds 31-50. It was scouting director Tim Wilken's fourth draft for the Cubs and they selected OF Brett Jackson from the University of California with their first pick, 31st overall.
