After being drafted was asked to be switch-hitter to take advantage of his speed. Decided to scrap switch-hitting on his own after hitting poorly for a few seasons.
Member of College World Series Champions with LSU in 2000.
Arbitration eligibile after 2009 season and asked for $3,400,000, Cubs submitted $2,600,000.
Made $500,000 in 2009.[1]
