Status: Did not sign with Cubs, drafted by Arizona Diamondbacks in 3rd round of 2005 draft and later traded to Cincinnati Reds as part of a deal for Adam Dunn in 2008.
He was drafted out of high school in the 2nd round of the 2002 draft by the Colorado Rockies.
Known as one of the better hitting pitchers in the league.
