Drafted in 4th round, 117 overall in 2000 amateur draft.
Selected to play in Futures Game in for Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004.
Non-Roster Invitee in 2007 and 2008.
Started in 26 straight games in 2009 when Geovany Soto went to the disabled list with an oblique strain.
Arbitration eligibile after 2009 season and agreed to $700,000 contract.[1]
Made $475,000 in 2009.

Severed the pinkie and ring finger on his right hand, and cut deeply into thumb and middle finger in a table saw accident in October of 2007. Doctors sewed middle finger back in exact position he needed to throw a baseball.[2][3]
