Drew Hall
From Wiklifield
Drew Hall was a left-handed pitcher for the Cubs in the 1980s. He was their first round pick (3rd overall) in the 1984 amateur draft. A promising prospect who was traded from the Cubs to the Texas Rangers in a nine player trade in December of 1988, Hall spent five seasons in the majors, the last in 1990. Hall stuck around in the minors through 1995, finally calling it quits when he couldn't win a job with the Pittsburgh Pirates out of spring training. He is now a pitching coach at Morehead State.
