Cubs National League MVP Winners

The National League began honoring an MVP in 1911. From 1911-1914 the Chalmers Award was given out to the most valuable player in each league. The practice of honoring the most valuable player was discontinued until 1924 when the National League created its own league award, given out until 1929. After the league award was discontinued the Baseball Writers Association of America gave out an unofficial award in 1930 and an official award from 1931-present. There have been 11 Cubs who have been honored as the National League MVP. They are listed below.
