Chicago White Sox
From Wiklifield
Not including the playoffs, the teams were tied 33-33 when they play each other, including the Cubs scoring 322 runs in those games to the White Sox 323 runs through 2008...the closest matchup of any two franchises in run differential.[1] The two teams met once in a World Series in 1906, when the "Hitless Wonders" beat the heavily favorite Cubs that year. Before interleague play began in 1997, the teams would often meet up in a City Series after the season or a one game charity exhibition during the season.
