Originally a shortstop in the New York Yankees farm system...once rumored to be part of a Sammy Sosa swap in 2002...refused to move from 2B to LF after Washington Nationals traded for him before 2006 season before finally relenting near end of spring training.
Signed 8 yr/$136M deal with no-trade clause to play with Cubs.
Member of the 40/40 club accomplishing feat in 2006 with Nationals.
Famously dressed down at a WWE event in 2009 that coincided with 2-month long slump.
